Five Star Hotels in Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta
may not be as big and wealthy as Bali or Jakarta. And thus the number of five star hotels is smaller. That being said, this city still offers some really nice hotels, catering five star travelers. There are a few five star hotels, namely Hyatt Regency Hotel, Melia Purosani Hotel and Sheraton Mustika Resort and Spa. Each hotel has its own distinctive and unique feel and atmosphere.

gives me that traditional Javanese atmosphere. The name Purosani and its architecture are Javanese. And probably its close proximity to the Javanese Palace adds to that atmosphere. You can feel the Javanese ambiance throughout.
The Hyatt Regency Hotel
delivers that grandeur and ancient feel. It is probably because of its architecture. The ancient temple Borobudur inspired its architecture. And the lush landscaped 24 ha gardens and golf course add to its grand status even more.

Sheraton Mustika Resort and Spa
, the feel and atmosphere that I get is of royalty and elegance. The presence of Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa is no doubt responsible for this ambiance. The spa offers an excellent royal Javanese treatment and pampering.
